Objective

Motto: "Hands ON = Minds ON"

In this course, students are motivated to work more with computers: create cloud applications, use cloud tools, apart from activities in which they have to organize technical events for juniors/prepare video lecture about the application development process.

What NEW things you learnt in this course on Cloud Computing.

Got to what cloud computing is all about. Got to build apps in Google App Engine. Got to know the importance of cloud computing in today's life. Google App Engine and some complex applications. GAE usage. Created blog. shared our experience. Deploying applications on the cloud Using the internet safely :) I have learnt most of the concepts behind the Internet and how the cloud service providers provide the resources as and when we need ....And many more new SOA architecture 1.app development 2.private cloud creation. * How to use the freely available resources which are useful for cloud computing course. *Google App Engine using Java/JSP. *Conducting workshops helps us to improve our communication skills. *How to use online available Cloud IDEs such as CloudIDE,C9.io etc. *Easy use of cloud storage. 1) Web apps can be deployed for accessing to all. 2)Using online IDE's app development 3)How to use google docs effectively

Any comments/suggestions for improving this course and /or conduction.

Learning some of the important contents on cloud ..like creating apps was great!. This course not only gave us practical knowledge but also gave us the interest to do more research on the internet.Innovation and creativity was the main advantage of this course. "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination" -Einstein. Everything was quite good! The course was really well planned. It would be of much more use if many more apps are being built by the students. By knowing the benefits of cloud computing , each one of us should learn this course. So If possible try to remove this course from elective and MAKE THIS COURSE AS A COMPULSORY subject with LAB. Provide some library books ..Because in our college library we don't find any cloud computing related books(Kumar Sourabh) for the UG guys.............Books are there But those books cannot be issued by UG fellows .. Application development (CAT-2) for the students should be given based on their respective skills and not randomly. conducting hackathons, codelabs would help Provide lab sessions in time table. Prefer the good books for concepts of cloud computing. avoid more images in slides
